If you want to refer someone to Canberra Men's Centre, please tick the appropriate box on the Referral Form to make sure it gets to the right program. For help with this, please read the following then click on the link.
MASS Program
This program is specifically for men with complex support needs who are homeless. Referrals generally come from government agencies dealing with men living with multiple support requirements - mental health, intellectual disability, substance abuse, criminal justice issues. For help with more general housing or accommodation issues (emergency accommodation, help with ACT Housing, rent arrears, family housing etc), refer to MASS Outreach. MASS Outreach
For single men who are at risk of homelessness or who are homeless and not involved in the MASS Program. Referrals for men needing help related to gaining or sustaining stable accommodation (emergency accommodation, negotiating with ACT Housing, rent arrears, family housing etc) should tick this box. Counselling
The Counselling Service's capacity to take on new clients changes from time to time, so you may want to call us on 02 6230 6999 before sending a Referral Form, to get information about the availability of appointments. For more information on the Counselling Service click here.
Anger Management
We only run a small number of groups each year, so you may want to call us on 02 6230 6999 before sending a Referral Form to get more information about when the next program starts, vacancies and waiting lists. For more information on CMC's anger management program click here.
