Vision
Our vision for the Centre is that we will:
-
be accepted and valued by the community as a down-to-earth, accessible and responsive resource for disadvantaged and marginalised men
-
be known as a place where such men feel welcomed, supported and safe
-
provide a positive environment for disadvantaged and marginalised men which actively shows respect for the interests of women and children
-
work in partnership with the Canberra community to reduce the incidence of violence and other forms of abuse in the community
-
raise awareness of men's interests and needs so that we, as part of a caring community, can lead fulfilling lives
-
give men who are disadvantaged and marginalised greater choice by exploring together who we are and who we can become, exploring the meaning of taking responsibility for our choices and our actions
-
encourage the men we assist to value our relationships with each other
